The 20 by 20 multiplication chart

The 1-20 multiplication chart is the most popular chart after the classic 12 by 12. It holds 400 answers and includes the tables that school charts leave out, from the 13s up to the 20s.

On a computer the whole chart fits on the screen. On a phone you can scroll through it while the blue numbers on the top and the side stay in view, so you never lose your place.

Why learn past 12?

Bigger tables make everyday math faster. Think of 16 ounces in a pound, 18 holes of golf or 20 dollar bills. Students who know the chart up to 20 also find long multiplication, fractions and algebra a good deal easier.

Handy shortcuts

The 20 times table is the 2 times table with a zero behind it. The 11s up to 9 just repeat the digit: 22, 33, 44. And for anything in the teens you can split the number: 17 × 8 is 80 plus 56, which makes 136.
